Jacob Braegelmann

Jacob Braegelmann has worked in the engineering and business development fields since 2005. In 2013, they joined New Wave Design and Verification as Vice President of Business Development and later became Director of Business Development and Senior Business Development Manager. In their role as Director of Business Development, they were responsible for all new business development activities, driving senior level customer engagement, and managing regional sales managers, sales representatives, inside sales, and marketing teams. As Senior Business Development Manager, they led new business development, performed multiple chip architecture efforts, and presented to customers through written proposals, white papers, and on-site presentations.

Prior to joining New Wave Design and Verification, Jacob worked at Lockheed Martin from 2006 to 2013. During their time there, they completed the Engineering Leadership Development Program and was part of multiple chip architecting, design, and verification efforts. Jacob was responsible for designing PCIe controllers, 10G Ethernet interfaces, register sets, bus interfaces, Event/Interrupt controllers, DMA controllers, and traffic arbiters.

In 2005, Jacob began their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at CyberOptics.

Jacob Braegelmann received their B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of St. Thomas in 2006, and their M.S. in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University in 2009.
