Mark Grovak has worked in various roles for eight different companies since 1979. Mark began their career as a Supply Officer for the USS SHASTA (AE-33) in 1979. In 1982, they moved to NAVPRO MINNEAPOLIS as a Contract Administrator. In 1984, they joined Control Data Aerospace as both a Program Manager and Subcontract Manager. In 1992, they became an International Business Development Manager for Computing Devices International. In 2000, they were a Business Development Manager for Lockheed Martin. In 2004, they moved to General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as a Business Development Manager. In 2011, they became a Director of Avionics Business Development for Curtiss Wright Controls Defense Solutions. Most recently, in 2022, they joined New Wave Design and Verification as the Director of Strategic Business Development.
Mark Grovak obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Managerial Accounting from the University of St. Thomas in 1978. Mark then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Government Contracts from the same university between 1989 and 1992. Prior to that, they attended Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, Illinois from 1970 to 1974.
