Tom McLeod, CPA

Tom McLeod, CPA has over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance. From 2012 to 2014, they served as Accounting Manager at Aufderworld, where they managed accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll departments with two direct reports. Tom also managed vendor accounts, cut checks for vendors and managed customer accounts by processing and applying check, credit card and wire transfer payments. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Accountant at John A. Knutson & Co., PLLP (JAK), where they completed year end closing procedures for clients, prepared federal and state individual, C-Corp, S-Corp, partnership, LLC, and non-profit returns. From 2017 to 2019, they served as Accounting Manager at LevelCredit, where they oversaw the management of the month-end close process with two direct reports, provided cost reports and guidance on adherence to budgets and prepared financial analysis reports for executives and investors. Most recently, they have been working as Controller at New Wave Design and Verification since 2022, where they manage the month end close process with one direct report, improves work paper documentation process for a faster month end close and supports management with the implementation of a new ERP system.

Tom McLeod, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting and Finance from Minnesota State University, Mankato between 2007 and 2012. Tom is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Minnesota Society of CPAs.
