Noel E. Anderson PhD

Chief Science Advisor at New Wave Foods

Noel E. Anderson PhD has had a long and successful career in the food industry. In 1979, they began their career as a Laboratory Manager for the Breakfast Foods Division at Kraft Foods Group. In 1995, they were promoted to Division Research Director for Post Cereals and Vice President of Technology for Kraft Canada. In 1997, they were promoted again to Vice President of Analytical and Technical Insights at PepsiCo. In 2013, they joined the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) as the Feeding Tomorrow Chairperson and Member. In 2015, they joined Board Leadership as an Advisory Board Member and Board Member. In 2016, they became Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Mosaic Food Advisors. In 2019, they were elected Immediate Past President of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT). In 2020, they joined New Wave Foods as Chief Science Advisor and iBars Club LLC as Chief Science Officer.

Noel E. Anderson PhD has a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Noel E. then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Food Science and Nutrition from the same university. Afterward, they earned a PhD in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition, Anderson has received several certifications, including a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2011, a Fellow from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) in 2010, and a CFS-Badge from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) in 2013.
