Marta Salas

Marta Salas is a seasoned Big Data Engineer currently employed at NEW WORK SE since March 2021, with extensive prior experience at Grupo GFT from September 2007 to December 2020, where roles included Data Analyst and Big Data Developer. Notable projects include the development of a banking event-processing system utilizing technologies such as Flink and Kafka, enhancing maintainability and performance through technical design and functional rule implementation. Marta also contributed to a Deutsche Bank project focused on regulatory compliance in Banking Book Risk management, along with leading the migration of an ETL IPC layer into a Big Data system for Deutsche Bank, and previously developed reporting tools for the Royal Bank of Scotland.
