Matija Milković

Matija Milković has a comprehensive work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. Matija began their career at Student Center, where they worked as a student service provider in Zagreb for six years. Matija then moved on to CBO Media Grupa as a web developer, handling maintenance for larger websites and developing smaller ones. Matija gained valuable experience in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and MySQL while working at Kanban - Web Development Company as a FullStack Developer. Matija also learned to work with mobile hybrid app frameworks. In 2014, Matija joined Goodgame Studios as a Data Engineer before transitioning to New Work SE in 2017. At New Work SE, they have held various roles, including Data Engineer, Senior Data Engineer, and currently serves as the Team Lead for BI Data Engineering. In their role, Matija leads a team of 10 data professionals, fosters continuous learning and mentorship, leads the migration of the Data Warehouse to a cloud-based solution, and successfully consolidates data lakes across the company.

Matija Milković pursued their education at Zagreb University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Computer Science. Matija completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university between 2007 and 2010. Later, they furthered their education by obtaining a specialized Engineering degree (spec ing. techn. inf) in Computer Science from Zagreb University of Applied Sciences between 2011 and 2022. Prior to their higher education, Matija attended Gimnazija Lucijana Vranjanina secondary school.
