Pedro Nieto Peláez

Pedro Nieto Peláez has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and data management. Pedro currently holds the position of Team Lead Software Engineering at NEW WORK SE, where they are responsible for building an Application Platform for the Onlyfy.com product. Previously, they worked at Grupo GFT, where they held various roles such as Senior Data Engineer, Senior Data Specialist, Data Management Specialist, Technical Lead and Scrum Master, Technical Analyst and Team Leader, Analyst Team Leader, and Analyst. At Grupo GFT, they worked on projects related to IoT data processing, architecture design, multiple client interactions, and data management. Prior to that, they worked at Steria as an Analyst-Programmer and Senior Programmer, and at Sistema Binario S.L. as a Technical Programmer. Additionally, Pedro worked as a Professor of Master Data and Analytics at EDEM Escuela de Empresarios.

Pedro Nieto Peláez attended the Universidad de Oviedo from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería Técnica Informática with a specialization in Sistemas. Pedro then pursued further education at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2006 to 2007, obtaining a degree in Ingeniería Técnica Informática de Sistemas through the Programa Séneca. In 2019, Pedro enrolled in the Accelerated Leadership Program at EADA Business School, focusing on Gestiód de proyectos. In addition to their formal education, Pedro has obtained multiple certifications in various areas, including data science, cloud computing, and project management.
