Courtney Bovee, MD, is a highly experienced ophthalmologist and glaucoma surgeon currently serving as an Ambassador for the Glaucoma Research Foundation since May 2023. Bovee has held the position of Delegate with the American Medical Association since September 2021 and has been active in the field of ophthalmology since September 2020. Bovee's extensive contributions include roles as a Speaker and Consultant for Iridex and AbbVie, a board member for the For Eye Care Foundation, and various leadership positions, including Delegateship and Vice Presidency, with the Florida Society of Ophthalmology. Additionally, Bovee has served on the faculty for the Southern Eye Congress and as a Medical Device Speaker for New World Medical. Bovee's educational background includes an M.D. from Harvard Medical School, a degree in Medicine with a specialization in Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of South Florida, and additional studies at the UCLA and the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business.
