Cassandra Mueller

Director, Artistic Programs at New World Symphony

Cassandra Mueller is a highly experienced arts administrator currently serving as the Director of Artistic Planning at New World Symphony since April 2023. Previously, Cassandra held the position of Assistant Artistic Administrator for the National Symphony Orchestra at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts from July 2021 to April 2023. Additional experience includes serving as Orchestra Manager at the Aspen Music Festival and School and as Artistic Operations Coordinator at the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Earlier roles encompass various positions at The Juilliard School, including Coordinator for Admissions and Academic Affairs in the Pre-College Division, and an internship focused on orchestra management. Cassandra began their career as a camp counselor at Greenwood Music Camp and was a fellow at The Perlman Music Program, where responsibilities included stage management and music library maintenance. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder.
