Chief Video Engineer at New World Symphony

Dean Gay is the current Chief Video Engineer at New World Symphony. Prior to that, they were the Director of Production at Ballet West from September 2017 to August 2018. Dean has also been a Production Manager at Chautauqua Theater Company, ZACH Theatre, and The Theater at Monmouth. Additionally, they have served as a Campus Events Coordinator and Theatre & Dance Department Liaison at UC Davis and as an Intern Production Manager at Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. Dean Gay began their career in the arts as a Stage Manager at Unicon Children's Theatre and later worked as a House Technician at Cache Valley Center for the Arts.

The educational career for Dean Gay begins with a high school diploma from Box Elder High. Dean then pursued a field in theatre arts & stagecraft at the College of Eastern Utah. After completing their education, they received certification from the Miller Fall Protection / Honeywell Safety Institute in OSHA Fall Protection Competent Person. Dean also has certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in Adult CPR/AED.
