Maryam Farooq

Maryam Farooq is the Founder & Executive Director of New York Artificial Intelligence (NYAI), a startup focused on making massive scale machine intelligence adoption easy and actionable. Prior to NYAI, Maryam was the Global Director of Client Experience & Managing Director (NY Office) at Machine Colony, an artificial intelligence startup, where they were responsible for leading the outreach effort & Post-Sales strategy in cross-departmental initiative. Maryam has also worked as a Senior Account Executive & Special Projects at Zocdoc, where they were consistently acknowledged as a top performer surpassing targets by 121% on average. At Zocdoc, Maryam also led research project under the Healthcare Intelligence Department to uncover the dynamics & trends of the Urgent Care market in the U.S., for presentation to internal senior management.

Maryam Farooq has a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from SUNY Rockland, and a Certification in User Experience Design from General Assembly.
