John Nicholas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John founded and served as the CEO of the East Hampton Shucker Company, Inc, where they focused on disrupting the specialty kitchen tool industry with innovative inventions. Prior to this, they also founded and led the East Hampton Oyster Company, LLC. In 1993, John founded the NYAC Mercury Society at the New York Athletic Club, generating significant revenue for the club. John has also worked in various positions for multiple Family Offices, analyzing investments and managing financial operations. John has a strong background in philanthropy, as they founded the Metropolitan Foundation, which raised millions for breast cancer research and environmental causes. Additionally, they served as the Chairman and Founder of the Intrepid Museum Fall Ball and Redd Ball, the largest annual black tie event in the world, raising millions for the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. John's early experience includes working as a CMO Derivative Sales/Trader for National Westminster Bank, specializing in Collateralized Mortgage Obligations.

John Nicholas attended Trinity College-Hartford, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. John also obtained another Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution. Additionally, they attended Fordham Preparatory School, but the degree and field of study completed there are unknown.
