Kate Bird

Kate Bird serves as Vice President of Corporate Communications at New York Blood Center since July 2019, previously holding the role of Executive Director of Corporate Communications & Digital Strategy at the same organization. Prior to this, Kate was President of SoSmall Media LLC from February 2012 to July 2019, where responsibilities included strategic digital consulting and aligning digital strategies with clients' business goals, working with notable clients such as Pfizer and Merck. Additionally, Kate's experience includes over a decade at Pfizer Inc, culminating in the position of Director of Digital Communications Strategy, where leadership on corporate Internet initiatives was provided. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Information and Library Science from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from SUNY New Paltz.
