Rona Weinberg

Rona Weinberg is a highly experienced professional in the field of biomedical science, currently serving as a Consultant and Director of the Cellular Therapy Laboratory at New York Blood Center since 2003. Prior to this role, Rona spent over two decades at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where Rona held the position of Associate Professor of Medicine from 1980 to 2003. Rona holds a PhD in Biomedical Science from Mount Sinai School of Medicine of City University of New York, obtained between 1973 and 1977, and a BS in Biology from Brooklyn College, completed in 1973. Rona's educational background also includes a high school diploma from Erasmus Hall High School, awarded in 1969.
