Joshua Aromin

Joshua Aromin serves as the Director of Digital Communications at the New York Botanical Garden since July 2023, after progressing from the role of Associate Director of Digital Communications. Prior experience includes Assistant Director of Digital Communications at NYC Health + Hospitals and Associate Director of Digital Communications at Food Bank For New York City, where responsibilities included website management and newsletter oversight. Joshua has also held positions as Marketing Manager at Feeding Westchester, Associate Director Of Communications at Whitby School, and Associate Editor with Rhode Island Monthly, showcasing a strong background in communications, digital media, and content strategy. Additional entrepreneurial experience includes founding Providence Hoot, a platform for musicians, and a foundational role at Good 5 Cent Cigar as Managing Editor. Joshua earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island.
