Mary Amato

Mary Amato has extensive experience in benefits coordination within various organizations. Currently serving as Benefits Coordinator at The New York Botanical Garden since January 2007, Amato supports the Benefits Director in managing benefits for 500 active employees. Previously, as Benefits Coordinator at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from February 2004 to January 2007, Amato assisted in the administration of benefits for 1,000 full-time employees nationwide. Earlier experience includes serving as HR Department Head and HR/Benefits Administrator at Empress Ambulance Services, Inc., where responsibilities included managing medical and dental benefits and processing accounts payable. Mary Amato holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Queens College.
