Martijn Kamerbeek

Martijn Kamerbeek has a strong background in software development and management. Martijn started their career at Sierra Data Systems in 2000 as a Software Developer, where they worked on developing software for Flight Inspection Systems. This involved using VxWorks and pSOS realtime operating systems and writing software primarily in C and Fortran. Martijn worked on synchronized threads and ensured the correct operation of navigational aids such as ILS, DMEs, VORs, and NDBs.

In 2002, Martijn joined NYCM Insurance as a Software Developer and later moved up to the role of Application Development Supervisor. Martijn then became a Software Architect Manager, overseeing the development of applications. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Business Unit Manager, responsible for managing a specific business unit within the company. In 2018, they took on the position of Application Development Division Manager, and recently, they have been working as the Vice President of Application Development. Their experience at NYCM Insurance has given him valuable expertise in application development and leadership in the insurance industry.

Martijn Kamerbeek holds a Master's degree in Astrophysics from Leiden University. In addition to their academic degree, they have obtained certifications in Machine Learning and Data Science Math Skills from Coursera. Martijn also holds a certification titled Master Insurance Business Analyst (MIBA) from THE CIOP INSTITUTE.
