Zelda Owens, CSSGB, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Owens Williams & Associates LLC, specializing in legal and executive career coaching, sales and business development consulting, and attorney placement. In addition to their role at Owens Williams & Associates, Zelda co-founded Blacks United in Legal & Technology, Inc., and is an active speaker for the New York City Bar Association. With extensive experience as a career coach for the Association of Corporate Counsel, Zelda contributes to The Masters Conference as a Cabinet Member and Chair, focusing on the intersection of law and technology. Zelda is also a speaker for the International Association of Privacy Professionals and has been involved with Corporate Counsel Women of Color, sharing career strategies for legal professionals. Previous positions include managing director roles at DTI LLC and TrustPoint International. Zelda holds a Six Sigma certification from Villanova University and graduated from Barnard College.

The New York City Bar Association (www.nycbar.org) is a voluntary organization with 24,000 members. Since its founding in 1870, the City Bar has been dedicated to maintaining the high ethical standards of the legal profession, promoting reform of the law and providing service to the profession and the public. The City Bar's 150 Committees issue hundreds of reports and present hundreds of events annually. The Legal Referral Service matches vetted lawyers with clients. The City Bar Center for CLE provides continuing legal education for lawyers. The City Bar Justice Center provides pro bono legal services to the disadvantaged. Protecting the public’s welfare remains one of the Association’s highest priorities.
