Heather Gallagher

Heather Gallagher has extensive experience in development and institutional giving within the performing arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Development at New York City Center since September 2016, Heather previously held the position of Director of Institutional Giving. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Development for Institutional Giving at Symphony Space and Institutional Giving Manager at Manhattan Theatre Club. Heather began their career at the Metropolitan Opera as an Institutional Relations Temp and has also completed fellowships at Ensemble Studio Theatre and Soho Rep. Additionally, Heather has experience as an Advertising Manager at Theatre Communications Group and as a Company Management Intern at McCarter Theatre. Heather holds an MFA in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College and a BA in Theatre (Technical/Design) from DeSales University.
