Rachel Assisi is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a diverse background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Communications at NYCERS since December 2017, Rachel has previously held significant positions such as Digital Communications Manager at the NYC Department of Sanitation, Marketing Consultant at Peer39 by Sizmek, and Senior Marketing Specialist at USA WEEKEND Magazine. Early career experience includes roles in marketing and event management at Avon and Banco Santander, along with planning positions at The MONY Group, IQPC, and BBDO Worldwide. Rachel holds a B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.
