Zachary Herman has a diverse work experience in various roles, starting with an internship at the Center for Innovation through Data Intelligence- NYC Office of the Mayor, where they conducted data analysis and assisted in grant proposal preparation. Zachary then worked at the Osborne Association as a Grant Writer and Data Entry Specialist, where they wrote grant proposals, managed program documentation, and oversaw the participant database. Zachary also worked at AFS-USA, Inc. as a Development Assistant, supporting database management, fundraising reports, and prospect research. Currently, they are employed at the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget, where they have held roles as a Budget Analyst, Senior Budget Analyst, Supervising Budget Analyst, and most recently as the Unit Head for the Energy Efficiency and Modernization Unit. Zachary is currently employed as the Lead Capital Budget and Policy Analyst at the New York City Independent Budget Office.
Zachary Herman earned a Master of Science degree in Public Policy from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of Vermont from 2010 to 2014. Zachary graduated from Baruch College Campus High School in 2010.
