Ben Goodman is an experienced professional in external affairs and government relations, currently serving as the External Affairs Manager for the NYC School Construction Authority since February 2016. In this role, Ben represents the SCA in Queens North, acting as the primary liaison to elected officials, governmental agencies, and community organizations, while managing multiple projects and public presentations. Previously, Ben held positions as a Government Affairs Officer for the NYC Department of Education, where lobbying efforts focused on South Manhattan and Staten Island, and as a Senior Legislative Policy Analyst at the New York City Council, responsible for legislative review. Early career experiences include serving as a Community Liaison for the New York State Assembly and managing student operations at the University at Albany. Ben holds a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University at Albany.
