Director Enterprise Risk at NYC School Construction Authority (SCA)

Brian Fleischer has extensive experience in the field of education administration and risk management. Brian served as the Director of Enterprise Risk at the NYC School Construction Authority, where they oversaw internal audit functions, managed enterprise risk management, and coordinated with all departments to maintain effective policies and procedures. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager at EY, where they developed risk universes for K-12 education and higher education sectors, collaborated on proposals for advisory services, and was a member of various account and audit teams. Before that, Brian served as the Business Administrator/Board Secretary at the Montclair Board of Education, where they managed operations, budget planning, facilities management, and served as a member of the Superintendent's Senior Leadership Team. Brian also worked at the NYC Department of Education as the Auditor General, leading a team of administrators, auditors, and clerical staff in conducting audits and reviews of financial systems, compliance, and department operations.

Brian Fleischer has a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Columbia Law School. Brian also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Columbia University.
