Ylli Pocesta

Ylli Pocesta is an experienced structural engineer and quality assurance specialist currently employed at the NYC School Construction Authority since June 2022. Prior to this position, Ylli served as Laboratory Manager at 20 20 Inspections Inc from July 2015 to June 2022, overseeing testing and compliance for construction materials. Ylli's background includes working as Laboratory Quality Manager at IPE-PROING, ensuring adherence to ISO/IEC 17025:2006 standards, and as a civil structural engineer involved in the structural analysis and detailing of various buildings. Additionally, Ylli has experience as a Supervisor at Hill International, managing construction works on significant motorway projects. Ylli is pursuing a Master's degree in structural engineering at the University of Prishtina and is a PhD candidate focused on the seismic analysis of reinforced concrete structures from the University "Sc. Cyril and Methodius".
