Ignacio Acevedo

Ignacio Acevedo is a seasoned community organizer with extensive experience in advocacy and grassroots efforts. Currently serving as a Senior Organizer and previously as a Community Organizer at the New York Civil Liberties Union since September 2022, Ignacio has demonstrated a strong commitment to social justice. Prior roles include Community Organizer at Community Voices Heard, Consultant in a self-employed capacity from July 2019 to September 2022, and Lead Organizer at Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson from July 2017 to July 2019. Ignacio holds a degree in Human Rights from Bard College.
