Riche Rodriguez

Vice President, Finance at The New York Foundling

Riche Rodriguez has been working in finance for over 15 years. Riche started their career at FEGS Health & Human Services in July 2008 as Sr. Director of Business & Operations. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing revenue cycle management and internal controls for the organization. Riche also initiated, developed, and implemented electronic & manual systems to conduct reviews of service plans and related service documentation to ensure billing accuracy. In June 2015, they left FEGS to join The New York Foundling as Vice President of Finance.

At The New York Foundling, Riche oversees the financial operations of the organization. Riche is responsible for the annual budget, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. In addition to their finance duties, Riche is also a member of the quality improvement committee and is responsible for developing divisional logic models and performance indicators. Riche is also the curator and creative program planner for professional exhibitions. In this role, they are responsible for exhibit themes, curating, framing, filming, promoting, and coordinating events with outside organizations and board of directors.

Riche Rodriguez’s educational career began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Syracuse University in Fine and Studio Arts. Riche continued their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Accounting from Brooklyn College. After working in the accounting field for several years, they decided to return to school to earn their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Most recently, they completed a Certificate Program in Internet Technology from Baruch College in New York, NY.
