Laurel Young Lmsw

Laurel Young, LMSW, has extensive experience in behavioral health and social work, currently serving as the Behavioral Health Utilization Manager at Gracie Square Hospital since July 2022. Prior roles include Medical Social Worker at NYC Health + Hospitals and Interim Director of Positive Health Management at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where Laurel developed an HIV grant-funded program and oversaw multiple initiatives impacting over 1,000 patients. Previous experience includes substance abuse counseling and case management for diverse populations, policy analysis on substance abuse reform, and advocating for social justice. Laurel holds a Master of Social Work from the University at Albany and a Bachelor's of Social Work from Ramapo College, along with an Associate of Arts from SUNY Orange.
