Anna Danziger Halperin

Associate Director, Center for Women's Center at NEW YORK HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Anna Danziger Halperin serves as the Associate Director of the Center for Women's History at the New-York Historical Society since September 2019 and previously held the title of Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Women's History and Public History at Columbia University in the City of New York from September 2022 to May 2023. Halperin's academic experience includes roles as a Lecturer in Discipline at Columbia University and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Master’s Program in Museum Studies at The City University of New York between 2020 and August 2022. Other teaching positions include serving as a Lecturer at St. Joseph's College and Columbia University in 2018-2019. Halperin's earlier professional background includes positions as a Research Associate II at The Urban Institute and a Mariam K Chamberlain Fellow at the Institute for Women's Policy Research. Halperin holds a PhD in History from Columbia University and a BA magna cum laude in History and Human Rights from Barnard College.
