Cheryl McGinnis is a seasoned art professional with extensive experience in curatorial work, education, and consultancy. Since founding Cheryl McGinnis Projects in 1995, Cheryl has served as Director and Owner, focusing on expanding accessibility to art through various educational outreach initiatives and engaging exhibitions across notable venues such as the Queens Museum and The Bronx Museum. In addition, Cheryl's roles include being a Senior Educator at the New-York Historical Society, Curator at Flatiron Prow Art Space, and Art Correspondent for Cheddar Inc., where Cheryl covers the intersection of art and technology. Cheryl also hosts a daily Facebook live show, smART stART, encouraging public discussion around art. Educationally grounded with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Art History from Fordham University and Hunter College, Cheryl continues to promote the appreciation of contemporary art and represent significant Chinese contemporary artists through the Cheryl McGinnis Gallery.
