Cheyney Mcknight

Cheyney McKnight is a seasoned professional in the field of living history, currently serving as the Manager of Living History at the New-York Historical Society since January 2022. As the Owner of Not Your Momma's History since August 2014, Cheyney specializes in providing educational programs based on primary sources, as well as event planning and museum programming. Additionally, Cheyney has been a Content Creator on YouTube since April 2015, fostering engagement with historical topics. Previous roles include Living History Coordinator at the New-York Historical Society from May 2019 to January 2021 and Museum Interpreter at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation from March 2016 to May 2017. Cheyney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Simmons University, earned in 2011.
