Elan Cadiz-Ferguson is an interdisciplinary North American visual artist and educator based in New York, with extensive experience in arts management, education, and fine arts. Since September 2009, Elan has operated Élan Cadiz, overseeing various creative projects. Simultaneously, Elan has contributed as a Family Programs Educator at the New-York Historical Society and as an Art Educator with Foster Pride. Additional roles have included serving as a Portfolio Specialist at the International School of Art and Design and as an Art Coordinator at The Boys' Club of New York. Elan's artistic practice is deeply rooted in concepts of home and family history, reflecting a diverse ethnic and cultural background. Academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from The City University of New York.
