Jeanne Gutierrez

Jeanne Gutierrez is an accomplished professional in the field of history and cultural research, currently serving as the Senior Research Fellow at the New-York Historical Society since December 2015 and as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Lehman College since August 2013. With prior experience as a Development Coordinator at The Wassaic Project and various research roles including an Assistant Researcher at the New-York Historical Society and a Research Intern at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Gutierrez has developed a robust background in museum studies and education. Academic credentials include a PhD in American History from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, an MA from Bard Graduate Center in decorative arts, design history, and material culture studies, a BFA in ceramics from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and a BA in History from Swarthmore College.
