Karen Roshevsky

Director of Special Events at NEW YORK HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Karen Roshevsky is the Director of Special Events at the New York Karen'storical Society. Karen has over 15 years of experience in event planning and catering, and has worked with some of the most prestigious organizations in New York City.

Karen began their career as a catering sales and events manager at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Karen then went on to work as a freelance event planner and caterer for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 2016, they joined Condé Nast as the Director of Catering and Events.

In their current role at the New York Karen'storical Society, Karen is responsible for overseeing all aspects of special events planning, including weddings, corporate events, and galas. Karen is also working with the team to design and anticipate the Special Events needs for the organization's new expansion project.

Karen Roshevsky has a degree in journalism and communications from The Ohio State University, and a certificate in event production and management from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Karen also attended Lawrence High School.

They work with Kira Hwang - Art Director, Dale Gregory - Vice President of Public Programs, and Freddy Taveras - EVP & General Counsel. Their manager is Louise Mirrer, President & CEO.
