Marilyn Satin Kushner is a seasoned art historian with extensive experience in curatorial roles. Currently serving as the Curator and Head of the Department of Prints, Photographs, and Architectural Collections at the New-York Historical Society since 2006, Marilyn previously held the position of Curator and Chair of the Department of Prints, Drawings and Photographs at the Brooklyn Museum from October 1994 to December 2006. Earlier in her career, Marilyn was the Curator of Collections at the Montclair Art Museum from 1988 to 1991. Academic achievements include a PhD in Art History from Northwestern University, a Master's degree in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, and Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
