Shamsudeen Yusif

Shamsudeen Yusif, MIS, currently serves as an AWS Cloud Administrator at the New-York Historical Society since May 2022, following extensive experience in IT management and support roles. Previously, Shamsudeen worked as an IT Manager/System Administrator at Extended Home Care, where responsibilities included leading the implementation of the McKesson Application and transitioning systems to an AWS cloud environment, achieving significant cost savings. Earlier positions included IT Support Analyst at Sanga Entertainment, managing user accounts and providing technical support, and Help Desk/IT Administrator at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, addressing a high volume of technology issues for students and staff. Shamsudeen holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from The City College of New York, a certificate in Operations Management from The Wharton School, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. Additionally, Shamsudeen obtained ITIL Foundations certification in 2011.
