Jason Frasier

Jason Frasier is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Manager of Transmission Planning at NYISO since May 2020, after previously holding the role of Manager in Economic Planning. Prior experience includes significant positions at GE Energy Consulting from October 2014 to May 2020, where Jason led a team in the Power System Strategy group and worked with diverse clients on power market navigation. Earlier roles at NYISO between April 2006 and September 2014 included Senior Transmission Planning Engineer, and at ISO New England Inc. as Electric Power Engineer. Jason holds a Master’s degree in Electric Power Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, complemented by study abroad experience at the University of Melbourne.
