Yvonne Huang

Yvonne Huang is an experienced professional in energy market operations and planning, currently serving as Senior Manager of Installed Capacity Market Operations at NYISO since August 2020. Previously, Yvonne held various roles including Senior Planner focusing on capacity market design at Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) from July 2012 to July 2020, where key contributions included designing the Incremental Capacity Auction with substantial estimated efficiency gains and leading significant regional planning initiatives. Earlier roles at Ontario Power Authority included managing numerous electricity contracts and designing conservation programs, and an initial co-op position at Hydro One involved load forecasting and data analysis. Yvonne holds an MBA in Marketing from Brock University and a BA in English for Business Management from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
