Benjamin Khoo

Benjamin Khoo is an Associate Professor at NYIT since August 2007, holding a PhD and CISA certification. In addition to academic duties, Benjamin serves as a Certified Information Systems Auditor for ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter since August 2016. Previous experience includes roles on the Review Board and Program Committee for IJIT&N and as a researcher for IT-IEEE from 2003 to 2011. Benjamin was an Assistant Professor at Cal Poly Pomona from 2001 to 2006 and worked as a Professional Engineer for multiple companies from 1987 to 2000, including a position as a Member of the Technical Staff at Hughes Network Systems, contributing to the complete software/system development life cycle. Educational credentials include an MS and PhD in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, an MS in Software Engineering from Andrews University, and a B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
