Rakesh Mittal

Rakesh Mittal serves as the Chair of the Department of Quantitative and Analytics at NYIT School of Management since January 2023, with an extensive tenure at the New York Institute of Technology since 2013 in various professorial roles. Prior to this, Rakesh was a Graduate Assistant at New Mexico State University from 2009 to 2013, focusing on research areas such as organizational behavior, leadership, human resource management, and cross-cultural management. Rakesh has authored six publications in refereed journals, including the Journal of World Business, and has presented at notable conferences. Rakesh's teaching experience encompasses organizational behavior, leadership, HRM, and ethics, with a record of high teaching evaluations and several teaching awards. Rakesh earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from New Mexico State University, complemented by education at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
