Stephen Dougherty

Stephen Dougherty is a seasoned admissions professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Director of Admissions at the New York Institute of Technology since December 2022, Stephen oversees admissions for the College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to this role, Stephen held the position of Manager of Admissions and Financial Aid at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine from November 2018 to November 2022. Stephen also served as Assistant Dean at the City University of New York from October 2006 to May 2018 and held the title of Vice-President at Dowling College from 1980 to 2002. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Dayton.
