Tony Slieman

Tony Slieman serves as the Director of Academic Affairs and Associate Professor at the New York Institute of Technology since August 2019. Previously, Tony held the position of Associate Professor and Chair at the Proposed Minnesota College of Osteopathic Medicine from June 2019 to July 2022 and worked as an Assistant Professor at the New York Institute of Technology from February 2016 to July 2022. Additionally, Tony was an Assistant Professor and Director of Academic Affairs at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University for a brief period in August 2019 and served as an Assistant Professor at The University of South Dakota from January 2006 to May 2016. Tony earned a Ph.D. in Pathobiology from The University of Arizona, a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the American University of Beirut, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology from the Lebanese American University. Early education was completed at Tripoli Evangelical School.
