Roberto Abramowitz

Roberto Abramowitz is a seasoned sports broadcaster and voiceover artist with extensive experience in the field. Since March 2015, Abramowitz has served as the play-by-play announcer in Spanish for New York City FC on nycfc.com/radio and the NYCFC App, while also contributing as a color commentator for the New York Jets Spanish Radio since September 2020. Abramowitz has worked for CBS Television as an NFL play-by-play announcer since September 2014 and has a long history in the industry, including freelance sportscasting since 1994 for major networks such as HBO Sports, ESPN, and the NFL Network, covering a wide range of sports and events. As the founding Editor-In-Chief of Fútbol Mundial, Abramowitz led the largest Spanish language men's magazine in the U.S. and has been the voice behind numerous high-profile commercials and broadcasts, significantly impacting Spanish-language sports media. Abramowitz pursued education at Brooklyn College from 1977 to 1980.
