Karina Rivera

Karina Rivera, SPHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Chief People Officer at NY Kids Club & NY Preschool since January 2024. Prior to this role, Karina held various HR leadership positions, including Vice President of Human Resources at Shine Early Learning from September 2016 to February 2024, where strategic oversight of HR teams and the implementation of Workday HCM for 1,500 employees were key responsibilities. Previous roles also include Senior Director of Human Resources at Shine Early Learning, Senior Human Resources Generalist at Acelero Learning, and Director of Human Resources/Payroll at Lorenzo Food Group, Inc. Karina holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from New Jersey City University, awarded in 2012.
