Jae S. Yoon

Jae S. Yoon, CFA, has extensive experience in investment management and risk control, currently serving as Chief Investment Officer at New York Life Investment Management since November 2010. Prior roles include Senior Managing Director at both MacKay Shields and New York Life Investments, where responsibilities encompassed deputy CIO duties and leading the Investment Consulting Group. Earlier in a career spanned across multiple firms, Jae excelled as Global Head of Quant Research at Western Asset Management, Managing Director at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, and Vice President at J.P. Morgan and Merrill Lynch, focusing on risk management and analytics. Jae holds a Master of Engineering in Operations Research and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and has completed continuing education in Finance at Harvard Business School.
