Joe Pelle

Joe Pelle currently serves as Vice President & Actuary, Head of Pricing, Group Benefit Solutions at New York Life Insurance Company since January 2021 and has held the title of Corporate Vice President, FP&A, Group Benefit Solutions. Prior to this, Joe Pelle worked at Cigna from June 2011 to January 2021, where roles included Director of FP&A for Group Insurance, overseeing strategic business operations, budgeting, and financial modeling. Additionally, Joe Pelle served in various actuarial capacities, including Actuarial Manager and Senior Specialist, focusing on statutory valuation, asset liability management, and disability reserving in Group Insurance. Joe Pelle began his career as an Actuarial Senior Analyst in International Valuation, contributing to financial analysis across multiple global regions. Joe Pelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, earned between 2008 and 2011.
