Manuel Mathew Kakkanattu

Manuel (Manny) Mathew Kakkanattu serves as the Chief Information Officer for Investments at New York Life Insurance Company since June 2019 and has been an Adjunct Professor at NJIT since September 2011. Prior to these roles, Manuel held various leadership positions at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC from May 2000 to June 2019, including Head of Enterprise Technology and Head of Operations and Central Data Technology. Early in the career, Manuel served as a Senior Consultant at Red Hook Technology Group, and held consulting roles at Square D / Hexaware and S&S Systems. Manuel's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an MBA from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
