Benjamin Hamel

Benjamin Hamel is a finance professional with a strong background in real estate and leveraged finance. Currently, Benjamin serves as a Senior Associate in CRE Asset Management at New York Life Investments, a role held since October 2021, after progressing from an Associate position in the same department. Prior to joining New York Life, Benjamin worked as an Analyst in Leveraged Finance at J.P. Morgan for a brief period in 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Moody's between 2018 and 2021. Benjamin's educational background features a Master of Science in Real Estate from New York University, pursued from 2023 to 2025, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Connecticut, completed in 2018. Additionally, Benjamin has completed the J.P. Morgan Investment Banking Analyst Training Program at Financial Edge Training.
