Donald Lin

Donald Lin, CFA has a strong and diverse work experience in the finance industry. Donald currently serves as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Director at New York Life Investments. Prior to that, Donald worked at BlackRock in various roles, including Director of the Americas Insurance Solutions team and the Market Intelligence Unit within the Financial Institutions Group. Donald was responsible for providing strategic support to insurance asset management clients, developing industry-leading insurance analyses, and leading a team of specialists. Before joining BlackRock, Donald worked at Hartford Investment Management as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager, where they managed multi-sector portfolios and achieved benchmark-relative outperformance. Donald also gained experience at Black River Asset Management as an Associate, focusing on risk management and implementing new risk systems. Donald started their career at BlackRock as an Analyst, where they created fixed income trading and risk reports for institutional clients and maintained strong client relationships.

Donald Lin, CFA earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University in 2004. Donald also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, which they obtained from the CFA Institute in 2008.
