Brooke Lamantia

Brooke LaMantia is an accomplished editorial professional currently serving as an Editorial Assistant and Writer for The Cut at New York Magazine since January 2024. Previously, Brooke gained experience as an Editorial Intern at New York Magazine and Cosmopolitan Magazine, where contributions included writing on diverse topics such as shopping, lifestyle, news, and culture. Prior to those roles, Brooke worked as a Reporting Intern at San Antonio Express-News, covering significant local news, as well as a Staff Writer for Washington Square News. Additional internships include a Research Intern position at the Centre of Media Transition at the University of Technology Sydney, Investigative Journalism Intern at Market Road Films, and Staff Writer at Her Campus Media. Brooke holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and English Literature from New York University.
