Caroline Smith

Caroline Smith is an experienced copy editor and freelance writer with a strong background in editorial work. Currently serving as a Copy Editor at New York Magazine since February 2021, Caroline is responsible for proofreading and editing articles across various sections, ensuring adherence to house style while maintaining the author’s voice. Prior to this role, Caroline worked at The Dodo as a Copy Editor, where responsibilities included editing a variety of content for grammar and accuracy, and started as an Editorial Assistant at Square One Publishers, managing multiple book projects.
